The World Cup Practical Ideas for Multisensory Learning - FREE Resource

This summer term, I wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for all your support. Your messages, interactions, supporting my resources, joining me on my workshops and shared enthusiasm mean the world — and I’m so grateful to be part of our community.

As a small thank you, I’m sharing a free World Cup Sensory Pack for you to use throughout the tournament. Please feel free to share it with colleagues, settings, and anyone who may find it helpful.

About the pack:

The World Cup Sensory Pack offers a calm, structured way for sensory explorers to explore the excitement of the tournament through touch, sound, smell, taste, movement, and shared celebration. Each activity is designed with a clear single message, predictable rhythm, and meaningful opportunities for communication, turn‑taking, teamwork, and sensory exploration.

Learners are invited to meet the teams through textured flags, explore cultural smells and tastes, take part in a sensory football match, and enjoy a gentle trophy ceremony to close the session. The pack includes optional food‑based extensions and a post‑match celebration to deepen engagement and reinforce positive shared experiences.

With adaptable props and a consistent structure, this resource can be repeated throughout the tournament by swapping teams to explore different cultures, building familiarity while offering fresh sensory opportunities each time.
